MyN-logoSpecialist finance and CRM software developer Accounting Office Software Ltd is joining forces with Double First.

Accounting Office products include My.N, an integrated business management and accounting software system that meets the needs of a wide range of educational and business establishments. The company’s range of software is fully developed and supported from its Neath, West Glamorgan headquarters.

Chairman and Managing Director Barry Anns stated, “Accounting Office is a perfect fit within our growing organisation. We have experience of applying My.N into the education market as a reseller and we will now work to more closely integrate this application with our market leading Engage management information system.”

“The company’s existing Double First Accounts software will continue to be actively supported,” Double First Technical Director Paul Rastall confirms, “but we’ll also be adding to our portfolio of financial and business management products by closely integrating My.N into Engage. This will give us expanded capabilities for schools with complex requirements and also internationally where My.N is one of a very few packages on the market today capable of handling complex currencies.”

Ian Richards, Accounting Office’s outgoing owner stated, “the development of Accounting Office software and My.N over the past decade has taken the company to the point where it offers very versatile options for the management of business information in many markets. Now is the right time for it to be acquired by a larger organisation that has the necessary expertise and resources to generate future growth and success. After careful consideration I selected the shareholders of Double First due to the proven capabilities and obvious synergies that the company offers.”

Accounting Office will continue to operate as normal from its Neath office and Ian Richards is retained by the business in a consultative capacity.
