The team at Double First is pleased to announce it will be attending and supporting the Februay 2010 BSME Conference in Bahrain.
On demonstration will be their Engage Student Information System, designed to meet the specific needs of International fee-paying schools.
Engage by Double First is the leading Student Information System in the Middle East, and was chosen by St Christopher’s school, Bahrain, and some 20 other schools in the region last year, alone.
A further 40 other International schools around the world have also chosen Double First bringing the total to nearly 60 International schools, and a total of over 350 schools since 1987.
Engage is fully customisable for each country in the Middle East. Amongst other essential Middle East requirements, Engage allows every Unicode character (including Arabic) to be entered and any address field to reflect the country in which it is being used. The mandatory regulatory ministry reports can also be printed, automatically.
The software has recently been extended to accomodate remote access through the portal, enabling school staff to continue working from anywhere they have an Internet connection, and for parents to see what their children are doing.”
Piers du Pré, Group Chairman, was particularly looking forward to the event. “The BSME 2009 Conference was so enjoyable we are really looking forward to attending again, and meeting the School Heads many of which are now customers of ours,” he explained.
Countries with schools using Engage in the Middle East are Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Mrs Ann Elliott, Registrar at Al Yasmina School in Abu Dhabi described Engage as “a real blessing” last week.
Exhibiting at the conference this year will be Tania Croad (Double First Bahrain Office), Piers du Pré (Group Chairman), Richard Jones (Group Sales Director) and Kieran Millar (Group Finance Director). All will be happy to demonstrate the software and answer any questions you might have.
