Double First is developing its Middle East presence with a new office opening in Doha, Qatar this month.

Sarah Tose, Middle East Consultant for Double First, will be responsible for providing training, support and project management in the region.

Sarah has lived in the Middle East region for a number of years, having worked previously with the Doha English Speaking School (DESS), Doha Montessori and British School and Pearl School within the Aldar group. This means she has extensive experience of working with fee-paying schools in the area and is well-placed in terms of experience and location to meet the needs of other schools in the area.

Prior to living in the Middle East, Sarah worked in Human Resources at the University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University.

The new office in Qatar supports the constant presence that Double First is providing to schools in the local area using the Engage school management software.

Carole Denman, Head of Operations, explained: ‘Fee-paying Middle East schools are increasingly choosing Double First for their school management software and it’s very important that we continue to look after their needs,’ she said. ‘Comprehensive training is right at the heart of our customer service so it’s great that Sarah will be instrumental with this too.’

Sarah was very pleased to be joining Double First. ‘It’s an exciting company and I’m really pleased to be a part of the team. I also feel very pleased I can hit the ground running with all my previous experience in fee-paying Middle East schools,’ she said.

Sarah grew up in the UK, America and Australia and enjoyed her school years in Melbourne and LA. Her UK education was at The Red Maids School in Bristol where the pupils parade from St Nicholas Church to the Abbey every year to commemorate the school’s founder, John Whitson.

When not at work Sarah keeps herself busy as a Brownie Guider and an expert in abseiling.
