Double First Ltd, MIS provider of school management software to independent and fee-paying schools, has become the ISA’s Gold Preferred Supplier.
The Independent Schools Association (ISA) represents the interests of 300 independent schools. From time to time, those schools recommend a company, product or service that meets their needs and supports pupils’ learning.
After a vetting process that includes testimonials and demonstrations, ISA sometimes invites companies to apply for the Association’s Gold Preferred Supplier status. This kitemark of quality shows schools that the company is offering a combination of quality and price in the independent schools sector.
Neil Roskilly, ISA’s Chief Executive Officer is a former and highly successful headteacher, holds NPQH, and also represents the independent sector on the General Teaching Council for England. “We are delighted to be entering into partnership with Double First,” he said.
“Our schools have unique needs and rely on us to recommend products that meet their requirements, provide great value-for-money and (most importantly) enhance learning. Heads and other school leaders do not always have the time to research the market, so ISA’s Gold Preferred Supplier programme means they only have one place to look for the best available suppliers.”
On the benefits of good school management software, Neil added, “To be really effective, schools need to have access to the wealth of pupil data instantly in a format that all can understand. Making use of this pastoral and academic information is often a school’s greatest challenge and that is why an effective MIS can enhance learning, giving teachers and administrators the tools necessary to inform planning for teaching. Double First does this, brilliantly.”
