With feedback from User Group Conferences and Share Ideas, many really helpful additions have been incorporated in Release 2019.11. Key elements are:
Improved security
A specific security improvement gives schools a greater choice over the delivery of their invoices to parents whilst decreasing the risks of insecure and un-encrypted e-mail delivery.
Instead of sending invoices by email, schools can choose to provide a parent with a link to sign in to their portal and App to access their invoices, securely. This reduces the risk of sending invoices as email attachments, thereby reducing the risk of interception or “man in the middle” attack.
Compliancy
To help schools show compliancy following recent changes in changes to requirements, Engage has a large number of alterations to its SLASC and ISC Census returns.
Major Portal enhancements
- Attachments – to give Engage Users greater visibility of information, attachments can now be added to requisition requests in the Engage Staff Portal
- Requisitions – to help schools categorise their requisitions a new field ‘Project Code’ has been added meaning you can attribute a requisition cost against a project
- Activities – to save you time, the Activity Timeslots page in the Engage Portal has been optimised to make opening the page much faster
- Daybook – another time saving improvement is to make the Daybook load much faster
