Double First Engage and Portal school management information system releases for January are now available on the Support Centre.
Portal release v2013.01 introduces an optional suite of School Room Booking and Find Free School Rooms tools. Booking is quick and easily managed within one page; once a room is selected the timetable updates to show the room’s schedule including academic classes and any manually booked rooms. Any free space on the room timetable can be selected to allow users with permissions to book it.
Portal release v2013.01 also contains enhanced News Ticker functionality and a calendar-style date picker for the Week selector.
Engage release v2013.01 introduces the ability to clone Class Marksheet columns and an option to deselect the automatic updating of a Pupil Registration Stage on transfer.
Both releases also contain a series of minor amendments and improvements in response to school feedback.
Double First delivers a policy of continual investment and improvement for Engage. Upgrades are free to all licensed users and they can be accessed, along with full release notes, guidance notes and Knowledge Library entries, on the Support Centre, which can be freely accessed by customers.
The next scheduled release, v2013.02, will be unveiled in February in keeping with the regular release policy that delivers Double First’s continual improvement policy.
