Double First is delighted to announce the appointment of a highly experienced IT professional into the newly created role of Engage MIS Support Manager this month. Philip Gibbons has more than 30 years’ experience in IT hardware, field engineering and support team management working with small companies through to large multi-nationals including Unilever.
For the past 12 years, Phil has worked in independent specialist schools, which has given him a close understanding of the reliance that staff, pupils, governors and parents place upon their school management information system. He is married, with a daughter, and his hobbies include sailing and photography.
This appointment has enabled Double First to increase its Engage support management team to three. Carole Collins will be focusing her considerable knowledge and experience of our financial and accounts products to lead our specialist team in that area and recently appointed Stuart Clowes is already making an impact as our IT Manager.
Speaking about this latest appointment, Double First CEO, Barry Anns states: “We have seen record numbers of new schools joining the Engage family over the past two years but know that success also places the onus on us to ensure our schools continue to be offered a first class service. Phil’s appointment is one of several recent initiatives to strengthen our already talented team.
